In the Ocean, every day, it’s Halloween! Captain Forest is organizing the “Ocean Plastic” Halloween Campaign this year.

My “Planet Plastic” costume in 2021

The objective of this campaign is to raise awareness in a fun way about plastic impacts on marine life.

Also, this campaign is the opportunity to mobilize plastic activists and civil society to show politicians and large corporations how much plastic cause matters to us and our support for the UN Plastics Treaty.

I encourage you to join us in this initiative and use your creativity to raise your voice on social media. If you would like to participate, all you have to do is:

  • Wear a frightening “Ocean Plastic” costume using plastics you already have at home,
  • Take a picture,
  • Between October 30 and 31, post the photo on social media (Linkedin or Instagram) using both hashtags #OceanPlastic2022 and #PlasticsTreaty.

  1. Great idea. but also does Captain Forest have an instagram account? Bit of a weird choice to suggest that platform then and hard to drive it with no presence there.
